MAINS PRESSURE:  Heat exchange model

Heat exchange type is a combination with mains pressure delivery through a copper coil heat exchange coil. The tank is low pressure & only used for a thermal store no hot water from the tank is consumed. A 36m copper coil is fitted to the top half of the tank when the cold water flows through the coil it is immediately heated from the stored hot water in the tank. This allows the system to have a more stable output as no cold water is entering the tank to mix with the already heated water.
